On this day, we left Memphis, and said goodbye to our relatives. I walked my cousin to school, as he was not willing to go. Once I accomplished that, we went to the National Civil Rights Museum. This museum was by far one of the most intriguing I’ve seen. I don’t even have words to describe it, other than you guys should definitely consider a trip there. It talks about all the things Black Americans went through to escape slavery and unfair laws. It is located at the Lorraine Motel, where Dr. Martin Luther King J.R. was assassinated. Once we were done with that, we packed up (ate cookies) and drove for 7.5 hours to get to eastern Tennessee, where we stayed the night at an amazing campground!
